Texas I miss you! I just returned from such an ausgezeichnet
tour...I miss all mein neue freundlings and the tacos
already. DJ Jester was uber cool host and we had so many adventures...I'll be back again soon I hope!
Here is a little tour photo diary of some highlights auf diese
trip after the Austin dates (see below for Austin update!):
San Antonio: Tacoland lived up to its INSANE reputation! What
with the $1.50 Lonestars, the motley crew that made up the audience
(bikers, rockers, hipsters, nerds, older sophisticates,...), the
cracked sound system and general mayhem it was a DREAM! Danke
Nightrocker und DJ Jester for putting this one together. Opening
and Animals of the Bible
made me dance dance dance!
Danke Texas fur making Lederhosen Lucil feel welkommen und bienveneue!
Austin, Texas freundlings! It truly ist ein beautiful und musik
packed place during das festival...I rocked Zero Degrees mit DJ
Jester und DJ Klassen to a hyped group of dancing fans und then took
to the streets to check aut one auf mein dream bands for the erst
zeit - They Might Be Giants. Yay!
Here I am after "Trey's Freakout Party" (a sehr cool backyard bash where bands like "Baptist Generals" rocked it) mit neue freunds. It was particularly funny when tour manager Johnny Mac was accosted by a 4-yr old boy who tried to make off mit his Canadian passport!
Johnny Mac und DJ Jester get hammy at a local mall.
Lucil und KVRX staffers hanging aut in Lucilland und have one hosing gut zeit. Check aut some live MP3's from the KVRX session here.
Hey y'all! Lucil's tour manager John here, writing from Austin,
Texas at the KVRX college station. Lucil's doing a live in-studio
thingy here tonight, and you can listen to it on http://www.kvrx.org/ at midnight
Come back soon for some Lucil posts from the road.
